Rainsong

Rainsong is a collection of rain audio files we created as part of a Rainy Day songwriting competition in April 2020. Each nature field recording has been carefully captured in wide stereo. You'll find sounds of rain hitting car hoods, downspouts, traffic, thunder storms, bird calls in the forest, and more. After getting thoroughly soaked, we added a series of one shot drips and impacts you can use to easily make your own aqua percussion or uniquely wet sound effects.

Once we warmed up by the fire, we sound designed 58 ambient pads, atmospheres, drones and environments using the raw source content. These can be played on their own as synth pads, leads, and plucks, or blended in with the field recordings and SFX for a polished production-ready mix. Overall, Rainsong allows you to layer custom electric soundscapes, perform water-based synthesis, and generate a sonic storm of creativity.
